About Me
"If I don't know something I can always learn."
As a Data Analyst, I possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help organizations make data-driven decisions.
I am skilled in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets using various statistical methods and tools such as SQL,
Python, and Excel. I have recently gained experience in working with small to medium sized datasets, data visualization, have a
strong understanding of database management systems and have expertise in data cleaning and data wrangling to ensure data accuracy
and consistency. I am a proactive learner who stays up-to-date with the latest trends in data analytics, and I am always looking for
ways to improve my skills and knowledge. I am currently learning how to build predictive models that could help us predict future outcomes.
I am also a team player who can work collaboratively with different stakeholders and effectively communicate insights and findings to
non-technical audiences
A list of additional online courses I am currently completing.
My current goal is to enter the world of Data Science. Data is everything, and having
correct and concise data is integral in the decision making progress.
I enjoy Data Analytics, I believe that being able to tell a story and
answer questions with data is amazing. However, taking that data and being able to predict
possible futures can give us the ability to make better decisions now.
Recent Work
First Data Project
I was interested in finding out what skills are most requested by employers for Entry level Data Analysts and Data Engineers.
I took this opportuinty to use what I had recently learned in the Google Data Analytics Course. I found an unclean dataset with jobs posts from Indeed
I cleaned and sorted the data to only have entry-level postions for these two jobs and I counted the skills. I decided to use Tableu Public to visualize the data.
Boundary Meeting Results
In this project I had to take the results of a survey and visualize the outcomes. I used Looker Studio as my BI reporting tool.
In this report I counted the number of Pro and Con votes by each site and created a bargraph that would vizualize the choices. Also
I created a pie chart that would show the percentage of Pro votes for each choice compared to the total amount of Pro votes. This
will allow stakeholder to quickly visualize the answers to the survey. As an added bonus the data that the studio is connected to
can be updated and the results will also update on the Dashboard.
Works in Progress!
Currently working on projects will add them as soon as they are finished.
